Advising contractors: owners of service and drilling platforms, ancillary vessels (pipe laying, cranes, hotel, supply, anchor handling, standby), owners/operators of helicopter fleets engaged in activities for the offshore petroleum industry: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, UK, Ireland, France, USA, Canada, Brazil and Malaysia

Dispute resolution: lead counsel at all levels in the Norwegian Courts, including several cases in the Supreme Court. Pleadings before the EFTA court. Lead counsel in arbitral proceedings in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland (Zürich and Geneva). Assisting in arbitral proceedings in London

Commercialisation: assisted in sales of sophisticated technologies mainly for the offshore industry, but also for other commercial enterprises

Advising on public/private cooperation: including assignments regarding use of civilian infrastructure

Advising at public procurement: including assignments regarding significant public investments

Commercial real estate: advising on transactional in an aggregate volume of over NOK 75 billion, including single transactions of more than NOK 5 billion, in Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the UK for institutional financial institutional clients, investment funds and assisting other professional investors, as well as financial advisers and investment bankers. Real estate is also often included in acquisitions of domestic or foreign business enterprises

Financial sector: assisted insurance companies and other financial institutions on regulatory issues, stock exchange/market issues, asset management, new products, transfer of portfolios, and assisted in legal proceedings including also before the Supreme Court

Board positions: serving as chairman of the board of directors, and director, in companies engaged in the shipping industry, vendors to the offshore industry, financial services, and high-technology companies, both listed and non-listed companies

Charitable foundations: presently acting as chairman of several charitable foundations
